A.C.E. Award -- This addition to the Program of Service recognizes high school students who have overcome physical, emotional or social challenges and gone on to achieve academic and personal success.

Book of Golden Deeds -- This exclusive Exchange Club program honors the quiet good deeds of America’s unsung heroes. These uncommon men and women exist in every city and town and, if not for this project, might never receive the acclaim that they deserve.

Child Abuse Prevention -- Every Exchange Club should be actively involved in the organization’s national project, Child Abuse Prevention.  Since 1979, when Exchange adopted this truly important cause, clubs across America have been working to help diminish the tragedy of abuse through a wide variety of worthwhile activities.

Christmas Wrap – Each year our club gives wrapped gifts to the 1st and 2nd grade students at McKinley, Orchard and Garfield schools.  To achieve this, our club has a social in early December to wrap presents and have fellowship.  The gifts are then distributed by our members at special assemblies hosted by each school.

Crime Prevention Luncheon -- The Downtown Exchange Club honors the achievements of our city, county and state law enforcement agencies.

Directory – Gathering and publication of club member’s information.

Exchange City Golf Course (ECGC / Par 3 Golf Course) – The Exchange Club in cooperation with the city of Billings developed the Par 3 golf course where a portion of the proceeds go toward approved Parks and Recreation projects.

Fire Prevention -- Through such Fire Prevention activities as the presentation of educational talks, the distribution of information, and the sponsorship of poster and essay contests for children, Exchange Clubs can help citizens to recognize and eliminate potential fire hazards as well as teach them how to protect themselves if a fire does occur.  In addition, clubs can support efforts to improve and expand firefighting units, install smoke alarms in the homes of needy families or participate in a variety of other beneficial projects.

Freedom Shrine -- The Freedom Shrine is a handsome, permanently mounted collection of 28 of the most important and historic American documents, including the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Gettysburg Address, to name just a few. The objective of Exchange is to install a Freedom Shrine in every junior and senior high school in the nation.

Fundraising – The fundraising committee investigates new possibilities for fundraising.  Our primary fundraising activity is the sale of beer at the MetraPark Grandstands.  These events primarily take place during the summer and fall including the week of Montana Fair.  We also volunteer to serve on beer selling shifts for the Breakfast Exchange Club at MetraPark.

Grants – Any organization can apply for funds for specific projects that they have.  Our main criteria are that the funds be primarily directed toward youth.  Grant requests are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.

New Member Orientation – This important committee is responsible for informing and educating our new members about the Downtown Exchange Club.

Newsletter – ‘Noon Line’ is the official monthly newsletter for our club.  It contains upcoming events and other Exchange business.
